Giving Back

I find it very important to give back to those who need a helping hand. There are many excellent charities and societies around our community. With every sale I make I donate $100 to a cause of my clients choice. Here are a few which I feel are great causes, and well managed groups.

Canuck Place Children's Hospice
Canuck Place Children’s Hospice is British Columbia’s recognized pediatric palliative care provider. Over 560 newborns, children and teens with life-threatening illnesses and their families receive care from CPCH through outreach programs and two provincial hospice locations; Vancouver and Abbotsford. The design of this purpose built facility kept the warm, family environment that has been welcoming children and their families to Canuck Place in Vancouver.The 4-phase opening plan began in 2014 with community services and in 2017 will operate nine patient beds and five family suites, doubling the province’s pediatric palliative care beds. Canuck Place – Dave Lede House is located on a 1.5 acre site adjacent to Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre, and will form part of a Campus of Care with the Abbotsford Hospice Society’s Holmberg House (an adult hospice) and Matthew’s House (a respite home for children with complex health care needs) operated by Communitas Supportive Care Society. Visit www.canuckplace.org to learn more
